It’s taken me a while but I’ve now found someone in the hip-hop music scene who lives in my area. Coming from Aiken, SC (30 minutes from Augusta, GA where I stay) is Ten Hawkins. The SC native dropped this earlier this year but it’s smooth and I like his story. He attended University of South Carolina-Aiken and has also been featured in the Aiken Standard with a feature story in the Entertainment section. “We Can Make It” is an empowering song with its message being simple: no matter what, you can make it somehow.
