Toronto’s Kaydee tells us about a darker side of the Six than has been portrayed in music lately. While Canada isn’t the United States, a lot of the same issues exist for African-American’s up north as they do here. Kay addresses those on “AmeriKKKa’s Baby” and one of the lines that stood out to me comes towards the end of the record:
“It sounds catchy when you put it in a rap/but I’m stuck here that’s why they call it the trap”
