Fool’s gold was a popular trend during the gold rush and the term has survived ever since. I’ve never heard it used to describe people until I pressed play on this new track from Tony Moreaux. The self-produced “Fool’s Gold” has Tony depicting people who claim they’re real to not be exactly what they seem, hence “fool’s gold”.
