A theme that I like seeing in music right now is artists addressing the unjust and terrible situations that African-Americans face in the U.S. today. Every artist who has a voice should use their platform for at least a little bit of good and I think it’s beautiful when they do. Today KD uses his voice to address the plight, realities, and conditions that young black men face in America with “Have A Chance”. The B. Kirk & BFlatTrax produced song sees KD getting deep in his thoughts and praying that the youth have a chance before they’re profiled or unjustly killed. Stream his new one below.
