Finding yourself through misery and pain can be hard. You feel like giving up and staying in your ways. Why change? Why want better for yourself when you’re down? No matter the dark times, there’s always a reason to keep going and Detroit’s Adam Reverie proves it with his latest single “The Emancipation”.
Produced by Rokk Mass, Reverie details his father’s life sentencing during his first year of college, going through infidelity, and even some friendships that aren’t up to par. The track is not only a way for Reverie to vent but the Michigan hip-hop act lets you know that no matter what, you can change. Reverie is not the same person as he mentioned in the song so there’s always hope to become someone better than you are at this very moment. Look for his Soul Ties EP to drop next month with more great tracks like “The Emancipation”.
