I love it when an artist decides to remix one of my favorite songs with their own production. Rihanna’s “You Da One” was one of my favorite tracks when I first started getting into commercial radio. It was different and the melody was really easy to get stuck in your head. Fast forward a few years and my guy DrewsThatDude decided to remix it with his own style, giving some more life to it.
While the original sounds more pop than anything, Drew takes Rihanna’s vocals and blends them nicely over a more electronic sounding backdrop. His new melody gives it a fresh take and it will get stuck in your head all over again, this time with his production under it. Stream/download it below.
