The internet is such an amazing tool. Artists can literally bend genres of music from studying a style and mixing it with the current sound of today. Brooklyn artist Ho$ef has done this nicely with his latest “Light Years” single thanks to production from MahxieMusic.
“Light Years” sounds like a track you could hear in the 90’s based on it’s drum sound and pattern but it also blends well enough to sound current. Ho$ef speaks on the struggle of trying to get rich and feeling like he’s light years away from achieving that dream. We’re all able to relate to this, especially if you’re in debt. It feels like you’ll never get rich or get back to where your paycheck is all of yours at least. Ho$ef is dropping his How I Became Solar Vol. 1 album on November 29th so look for that then and listen to him now.
