When an artist begins to experiment with sounds it’s a great thing. It shows they want to expand their style of music and that they’re not afraid to take a risk. When that same artist gets good at that sound and consistently puts out great music with each record, that’s something that you should take notice of and start listening. Washington’s Sunny D. Light returns with his third new record in three weeks under his new style with “Been About It”.
This one is produced by Trvsh God and follows in its predecessors footsteps of sounding different. Sunny gives us a hollow vocal display as he sing-raps about not leaving until “I get what I came for”. He uses a popular flow pattern on the verses but the hunger is there from the Bellingham upcoming artist. He’s ready to get noticed and this is a style of music that could possibly do that for him.
