I love hearing artists I’ve never been exposed to for the first time. When they work with artists I respect it makes it even better because I know that I can trust them to listen to at least one song to see if I’ll like them or not. I’ve known TXTBOOK for a few years now and he’s evolved his sound with each project and single release. That holds true with his latest release, “Gimmie That”.
This single brings us newcomer Mula Kkhan for a couple of solid verses on the song. TXT gives us a synth, kind of west coast sound with how they wind up and down throughout the track. Mula is “doing it all” as he proclaims on the last part of the second verse as he weaves punchlines and establishes himself as a force to be reckoned with on the microphone.
